Baby Lucas | Newborn Lifestyle Shoot

Going back to these beautiful images from two years ago warms my heart. I knew Jenn and Joe were a match made in heaven years ago before they were engaged. When Jenn and Joe got engaged, they asked me to be their photographer for their wedding and engagement. I couldn’t have been happier to photograph their journey together.

Meeting their first born child Lucas was the sweetest moment ever. I love doing at home lifestyle shoots after a baby is born. I think it’s so important that the couple is comfortable in their own home during these very precious stages of life.

I understand how sensitive new moms are taking their newborn out in the world. This is why I offer to come to them. Jenn and Joe had amazing natural lighting coming into their place. They are always so friendly and make me feel like part of the family. I love being around them! These images look so fresh and natural. I am so happy to share this collection, although it is SO late!

I am so honoured that Jenn asked me to photograph. I have been friends with Jenn, her sister and mom for SO long. It means the world to me to capture these and I try my best to make them the most beautiful, natural photos to cherish forever.
